It is worth noting that not all infections can be removed during the time of an on-site visit and with your permission in these circumstances I would take the PC back to my workshop so I can safely back up any critical data before fully cleaning it of any infections 

If the PC is so badly infected that it cannot be cleaned, then all data can usually be safely recovered and the PC reinstalled and returned to factory settings using the restore disks you received or created when buying the computer
