The camera is expected to get an upgrade, but not just in the megapixel department. The iPhone 5S probably won’t get a 13MP sensor to match the Galaxy S4, but it could have a larger f/2.0 aperture, which would allow more light in. The resolution could get a boost, as well to 12MP. This would not be unusual for an “S” generation device — the 4S went from 5 to 8 megapixels. This would be the same f-stop HTC uses with its 4MP Ultrapixel camera, but with (maybe) 3x the resolution. To power all these hardware tweaks, Apple will likely increase battery capacity by a small, but not immeasurable amount.
