iPhone 5S rumor roundup: colors, spec bumps, and release date -
Tuesday, September 3, 2013
The camera is expected to get an upgrade, but not just in the megapixel department. The iPhone 5S probably won’t get a 13MP sensor to match the Galaxy S4, but it could have a larger f/2.0 aperture, which would allow more light in. The resolution could get a boost, as well to 12MP. This would not be unusual for an “S” generation device — the 4S went from 5 to 8 megapixels. This would be the same f-stop HTC uses with its 4MP Ultrapixel camera, but with (maybe) 3x the resolution. To power all these hardware tweaks, Apple will likely increase battery capacity by a small, but not immeasurable amount.

My (Electronic) Cigarette Addiction -
Thursday, April 18, 2013
I enjoyed my last real cigarette on August 1, 2008. I was just outside Washington’s Union Station, about to board a train to Philadelphia. I inhaled deeply, stubbed out the butt on the side of a trash can, then threw it (a Marlboro Light) and the lighter I’d used to ignite it into the trash. I was free—unless you count the pack of Nicorette gum in my bag and a bundle of cinnamon sticks, which I’d heard could help with cravings.
