This passage compares Futian's victory and inferiority, and makes people know the superiority and inferiority of offerings.

The Buddha said that there are hundreds of evil people, it is better to have a good person: Therefore, the Buddha said, if you want to do charity, it is important to know how to give. , Then if you plant it, there is no blessing. So, if you give rice to a hundred wicked people, you might as well give rice to a good person that has a lot of good fortune.

Why? You feed a hundred wicked people, and when they are full, they only know to do evil—you help them all the evil they do; you are an accomplice, and you help them do evil and help them Do bad things.

If you give food to a good person, and he is full, he will do good deeds-then the good things he does can be said to be good deeds that you accomplish. So it's better to fan a good person.

Fans are good for thousands of people, it is better to fan one who holds the five precepts: you donate food and treasure, and this fan also includes all the conditions for donating. Even if you donate the brains of the boss and help others to do good deeds, if you donate your life, then you will accomplish the good deeds he does. If you help the wicked and give life to you, then you will cause sin instead.

It is better to have a meal of ten thousand stuhan, it is better to have one anahan: you are offering food to ten thousand Ergostuhan who have broken the sixth stage of the sensual world, it is better to provide food to a saint of three goana han. The three-goa-nahan, that is to say, the ninth stage of the desire world has been cut off all the thoughts, and only then can the three-fruits be realized.

It is better to feed one hundred million Anahān than to feed an Arahant: It is better for you to offer rice to one hundred million saints who have attained three Goa-Nahan than to offer rice to an Arahant.

It is better to feed one billion Arahants than to a Pichi Buddha: You are offering rice to one billion Arahants than one Pichi Buddha. The Pichi Buddha is called Fate Jue, and the Arahant is called Shengwen. Shengwen is the enlightenment of Dao by hearing the voice of the Buddha; karmic enlightenment is the enlightenment of Dao by cultivating twelve causes and conditions when a Buddha is born. If, when no Buddha is born, one can observe the realm of illusion and impermanence of all things and enlighten it, it is called solitary enlightenment. Therefore, if you have a billion Arahant, it is better to have a Pichi Buddha.

It is better to feed the Buddhas of tens of billions of Pichi than the Buddhas of the first and third generations. In the past, present, and future Buddhas of the three generations, no matter which Buddha you are, you will provide for him.

It is better to feed the Buddhas of one hundred billion three generations than one who has no thoughts, no dwellings, no cultivation, and no certificate: offering food to the Buddhas of one hundred billion three generations is not as good as offering food to one no mind, no dwelling, and no cultivation. , The undocumented saint.

Without mind, mind without mind; without dwelling, dwelling without dwelling; without cultivation, without cultivation; without certificate, with certificate but without certificate, this will all be at the beginning of Yuanjiao. These no-mind, no-stay, no-cultivation, and no-document saints, that is, the Dharmakaya Master, they can all "achieve the path in eight aspects and be Buddhas in all realms", and they can all have this ability.

Therefore, we should know the principle of offering and know what kind of people are good for offering. Therefore, we must get close to good knowledge. If you get close to evil knowledge, you will learn evil knowledge and evil views; if you get close to good knowledge, you will learn right knowledge and right views. If you provide for the wicked, you will cause sin; if you provide for the good, you will have merit, so this is what we need to know.

But you have a thousand good people. This good person is a good person who doesn't do evil. It's better to give to a person who holds the Five Precepts this great merit.

There are ten thousand people who hold the five precepts. It is worse than Fanyi Xu Tuohuan: You give rice to the person who holds the five precepts. Holding the five precepts means taking refuge in the Three Jewels, holding the five precepts, and cultivating ten virtues. But if you donate to 10,000 people of this kind who have received the Five Precepts, it is better to offer a meal to a saint who has attained the early fruit of Sutuhuan.

It is better to feed a million Sudhahuan than a Fanyi Situhan: You are better to provide a meal to a sage of Ergo Situohan than one million sages of the first fruit of Suduohuan. Because the first fruit does not know the realm of the second fruit, the first fruit is to see the confusion, and the second fruit is the sixth stage of the desire to destroy the confusion, which has already been talked about. Therefore, the merit of offering rice to Ergostuhan is greater than that of offering Chugosu Tuohuan.
