Learn to control emotions,
Don't trouble sentient beings.
Each of us will always be unsatisfactory in life, and may also encounter irreversible things. Knowing that we can't get rid of it, we are always worried in our hearts. Life will inevitably encounter ups and downs, sadness, guilt, confusion, helplessness, etc. unsatisfactory. If we don't pay attention, we will be imprisoned by the heart prison built by ourselves.
If we can learn to control our emotions in the face of adversity, do not annoy sentient beings, and can do this, then our practice will be really good. All the time, no matter what you do, you have to think about whether sentient beings will be troubled, instead of just thinking about how you feel comfortable.
I would rather be wronged by myself than be troubled by sentient beings. This is also the quality that a Mahayana practitioner should possess. Really can bear it, this is Xiu'an Ren.
If you forbearance for a while, then complain and vent the dissatisfaction in your heart. We practice every day, looking at ourselves like looking in a mirror, and silently observing our own faults all the time. However, it takes time to correct one's own habits, and requires the support of the master and fellow daoists.
We practitioners have the requirements of practitioners, but we cannot have the same requirements of others. One of the most common mistakes we make is that we think it’s right and we force others to do so. It's not okay to use your own standards to ask others.
The first quality of a good teacher is to not be able to demand others according to one's own standards. This is tolerance. The most important thing in Buddhism is to lead by example, and teaching by example is far better than teaching by words.
The so-called forbearance is to control one's emotions. "Forbearance" is a knife above the heart. Although it will be uncomfortable, we must learn to train this spirit of overcoming adversity to control ourselves. If the Buddha warned us that we can't bear it alone, the world can't stand it any longer. If you learn to forbearance, you will begin to have power, and forbearance is the number one power.
The Buddha said that the world we live in is called "Sao Po World". The word "娑 Po" is Sanskrit, which translates to Chinese means "Ken Ren", which requires patience to face.
There is a knife on the head of Shinobi,
Can't bear to suffer first,
If you can bear the passing of a moment,
Afterwards, I learned that forbearance is high.
We must first learn this. We must have a little wisdom and reason to face it when we encounter it, and not be too emotional and impulsive. This is very important.
The Buddha said: "It is a man who can tolerate it, but he is a man!" Seeing other people's bullying to you, you can tolerate it; seeing the changes in the weather, you can tolerate it, and don't blame the heavens and others. This is a very important cultivation for us Chinese. If you blame God, you will have no good fortune, because you dare to blame. It is very important not to blame the heavens and others, to be patient with the heavens, and to learn to tolerate the people, that is, to be able to control oneself.
As a human being, we must stand firm. It is normal to encounter adversity and disobedience. These are the landscapes in our life. It is important to keep our heart still, minimize negative emotions, and increase our positive strength. , This is practice.
When the idea is wrong, you must quickly subdue it. From the beginning of the "Diamond Sutra", it asks how to subdue one's heart, how to settle one's mind, and quickly subdue it if it is not good, and create a good one to settle it down. This is a good state.
Such a life would be more ideal. Otherwise, if you don't have concentration, you will laugh when you meet people who are happy, cry when you meet people who are unhappy, and your emotions will be very unstable. When the mood is bad, it will naturally correspond to the evil way, then reciting the Buddha will correspond to the Buddha. Although we usually reciting the Buddha may not correspond to the Buddha. Without that wisdom, at least we can stabilize our emotions, which has such benefits.
So reciting Buddhism looks stupid on the surface, but it's actually very scientific. Whatever happens, "Amitabha Buddha, Amitabha..." will be emotionally stable. If you don't recite the Buddha, you will recite the realm, which fluctuates up and down with the realm. Minimizing negative emotions and promoting positive emotions is practice.
Then, in this so-called goodness, we must be able to transcend with the deeper wisdom of Buddhism, "the form of no self, the form of no one, the form of sentient beings, and the form of lifeless people", to understand these four sentences with heart. I am not the name I am, so I just call it "I". Where is there a fixed "I", since there is no fixed "I", it is easy to surpass.
This process of thinking allows us to open up wisdom and understand the Dependent Origination Law taught by Buddhism. Since "I" is non-self, "I" is crowded and united, and the nature of any substance is empty, and the emptiness of nature is bound to gather. Such a foundation.
If you do this today, your destiny will change today, your interpersonal relationship will change, and your family relationship will begin to be peaceful and immediate. All laws are ideal, and the heart is kept good, and the world will change because of this.
