STT sockets can be used with pneumatic wrenches (also impact wrenches), gear wrenches and other wrenches with a shank size of 1/2 "(they fit, among others, for Stix STT series wrenches). A specially profiled part connecting the socket with the spindle of the wrench facilitates its replacement and reduces wear of the handle The sockets can be locked on the key with a ball latch or with a pin and a ring (depending on the design of the key).
The sockets are made of a special type of chrome-vanadium steel, used to produce the highest quality drill bits and wrenches. The use of chromium and vanadium as alloying additives increases the hardenability of the steel and ensures high resistance to corrosion and abrasion.
The set includes 3 sockets in metric sizes: 17, 19 and 21 mm. It is the perfect kit for wheel service work - it corresponds to the most common sizes of bolt heads and nuts used for fixing rims in passenger cars.
The length of the sockets is 78 mm and the thin walls (approx. 4 mm at the thickest point) facilitate access to deeper fastening elements. The hexagonal convex profile of the sockets has been specially shaped to reduce the risk of skipping over the rounded heads. The design of the attachments ensures optimal force and reduces the level of vibration during operation.
The caps are placed in a plastic case - a case that facilitates transport and storage of the caps.
