Description
Solar set for heating water in boilers

The set consists of 8 polycrystalline PV panels with a self-cleaning Anti-Dust coating with a power of 280W each, the inverter and a complete 30-meter-long cabling, terminated on one side with MC4 connectors, and on the other with eyelet connectors for the converter.

The set does not include mounting brackets for panels and a boiler.

The inverter allows the direct use of photovoltaic panel systems to power heating devices such as electric boilers, heaters, heating mats, etc.

The system is simple, it only requires the connection of an appropriate number (from 4 to 9 pieces) of typical photovoltaic panels with an operating voltage of about 32V or an appropriate number of others, and an energy receiver, e.g. an electric boiler, underfloor heating.

Direct current generated in panels, which cannot be supplied directly to heating devices, is converted in the converter into alternating current, which can be used to supply heating devices.

The maximum power of the system is 3kW, the converter has a priority output "1", which always has voltage, and a dependent output "2", which is turned on when no energy is consumed on the output "1" and turned off when energy is taken from the output again " 1 ".

This allows you to connect two heating devices, e.g. two boilers, one of which will be heated first, and the other in a situation when the thermostat of the former stops receiving energy from the converter. Thanks to the implemented MPPT function, the converter will automatically adapt to the heater's power and set its operating point so that the energy received from the photovoltaic panels system is maximum.
