Why didn't you find this reason? Why didn't you die? If you die after you recite the Buddha, then everyone should die. Why didn’t you die? You only (only) recite the Buddha, there is no faith and aspiration, the pure land is faith, aspiration and fame.
Nowadays, some people still think that they have faith and wish. This is troublesome. In fact, you don't believe it at all. You can tell from the expression on your face. Those who truly believe must be full of joy, but there is no temper.
Why? This world is no longer my place to stay (living), I can go home if I have faith, and I will be full of joy in one day.
So you see, this is the Guanjing telling us that one with three minds must be born in another country.

It means that you have to do it in the front, you have to be faithful and happy, that is, truly believe, all the roots of goodness, the heart and soul, you do all good deeds for rebirth, is it eager to aspire, that is, you have a true faith and aspiration, but yes What's the meaning?
It is a turning sentence. It means even if you say ten tones, you will die, even if you say ten tones, what are the conditions? Believe in your heart, all the roots of goodness (heart and heart), wishing to regenerate our country, is based on your faith and wish. Do you understand?
You have to be confident, even if you say ten to death, you can say ten to protect you from death. If you don’t get enlightenment, how many chants do you say, can you pay tens of thousands a day if you don’t recite it? Did you die? There isn't even a letter, what's the reason?
You only (only) recite the Buddha, and you haven't cultivated to the point of faith and happiness, you haven't cultivated. You look at us now, don't you just recite (only) Buddha now? Didn't fix anything? Believe in your heart.
You see, there are a few people who cultivate in this area, not many, so it is difficult to study in Pure Land, it is too difficult, he doesn't believe it, is it normal? normal.
The Buddha said that if you don't cultivate blessings in the past, you can't smell the Fa-rectification here. What is this? This is this book of immeasurable life. The immeasurable life sutra, ten thoughts must be reborn, you can die by reciting the ten tones, why do you recite so much but not die, or when you see so many people around you, why didn’t you die? Why don’t you find this reason.
We must think backwards, don't look at this person who passed away, what do you look at? Why didn't the person who didn't die, he didn't die? He really read the Buddha, but didn't understand. You have to look at this and see why he didn't die. This is a wise man. Why did he not die? What's the difference? What is missing? I can make up for what is missing, can't it be enough, what is he missing? Lack of promise.
How to do? I'll make up for the letter and vow. If you fill up this letter and vow, will you be able to die? Who is this? Smart people.
Right here, we are all stuck here, which is just like what we often say, the illusion is the enlightenment, and the enlightenment is the enlightenment. The saint is in a place where others are fascinated, and when we are enlightened, what's wrong with us? We are stuck, don’t you think? Moreover, Master Hui Yi clearly told us that death depends entirely on faith and wish.

Now what we think, I believe in the world of bliss, and I am willing to go, it is called faith and wish. That is verbal. You have to look at your life to show whether there is faith and wish. Have you let go? Didn't let go, one thing didn't let go, why do you believe it? Not enough.
We, Huang Nianlao, have used six patriarchs in the past few days to tell you about this matter. What do we rely on for death? Rely on faith, because I can't say it at a time, I can't say it at a time.

Recitation of Buddha does not necessarily have faith, do you understand? Let’s look at this one, so what do you mean when you turn your heart back to the roots? Why did you do all kinds of good deeds like needle nose, are you? Are you, why are you chanting? Not for your children? Are you sick? Do you take the exam? Are you not for low back pain? Is your back sore? Ask yourself why you recite Buddhism and don't you let your family be harmonious? Don't you want to eliminate your karma? Don’t you do bad things by yourself and want to bury them? is not it.
Are you doing all the good roots for death? You're not so wishful.
If you don’t check it, you don’t know. Once there is no check, there is no way to chant sutras and reciting the Buddha to do for the death, is there? Why do you do Buddha's service? Aren't you super? (Extraordinary) Are you a relative creditor? Are you going to die? Die for yourself? Why did you release your life? Don't you live a long life to avoid disasters? Did you release it for death? All the good roots of mind and heart, if you are not in line, why you can’t die by chanting ten tones, you understand, if you don’t say it, you don’t know.
You see, all the good roots are all the good things you do, even small things like needle noses, they are longing for the rebirth of the blissful world. What is this called is in line with the desire.
Why, I don’t ask for a good illness, I don’t ask for a long stay in the world, I immediately want to go home early anytime. Do you have this kind of heart? Are you chanting Buddha to leave early? You chanted Buddha to live two more days without knowing you. What do you mean? I can't wait, I want to leave anytime, this is a wish, do you have it? Fool yourself, we are now, the problem appears in this area.
If you don’t believe in your wishes, you think you have faith in your wishes. Who do you deceive? If you don’t say you don’t know, what are you doing in everything you do? It's not for the sake of death at all, why do you recite Buddhist scriptures and do good deeds? In order to eliminate my karma, I did something bad, and I am embarrassed to say, thinking about eliminating the karma. is not it?
You are sick, I ask everyone, what do you want to do the first thing you are sick? Do you want to get well, do you want to die? I didn't see anyone who was sick, so I called my teacher. If I was sick, let me see, can I be good, how can I fix it, how can I do it? None of them said that the teacher, I am sick, is that I am going to die, you give me a recitation of the scriptures, so that I can go early, none of them, three years, no one, do you call it a wish?
That said, the illness is coming, you should be happy, call, Amitabha! Teacher, let me tell you good news. What good news? I'm sick. Maybe Amitabha will come to pick me up early. The sacred moment of rebirth may have come early. I have to do Aweiyue in advance. Teacher, you can help me to return to me. Thank you for letting me die early.
I haven't seen one, not one, and haven't touched one in three years.
You call me a teacher. You think I’m sick. How can I be better? How can I recite the scriptures, who are I chanting for? Look, what are you doing? Would you like to go? Would you like it or not, it's all fake holding the rosary all day long, you don't know if you don't check it.
When I was teaching in Yitong, two old Bodhisattvas were learning Yiguan Dao, but they were wrong, and both of them became ill and seriously ill. I asked her, "You, I don't care what you learned before, but now you believe in Amitabha, believe." I said do you want to die? Want to die. I said you have to be really good. I really want to die. I'm still sick at such an old age. I said I really want to go? real.
Talking endlessly, insisting that I want to die. I asked her the other way around, and I said that you have to do this. If Amitabha gives you two conditions, the first one will let you die now, and the second will make you heal. which one you want? That's better.
This is said by one person, who does that represent? Most people, of course, are not in the house, they are all real in the house, you can see it.
You see, because you know that it is impossible to get better, you can die. There is a glimmer of hope that you don’t want to leave. I don’t know you yet. I don’t believe in Amitabha. To, if you really believe in changing your body, don't you want to change it? Don’t you know the Pure Land? Don’t you know the Pure Land? What a sacred moment of death has come. It is the beginning of your life as Aweiyue Bodhisattva, the starting point of a new life. Death is not death, what is it?
It is the continuation of life and the beginning of your new life. Why are you not willing to go? Isn’t it that you don’t understand Pure Land? To understand whether you are willing to go, you see that you are going to die, change your body, no more, change into thirty-two phases and eighty kinds of good, Vajrayana Luoyan body, you are Aweiyuezhi Bodhisattva, are you willing, say yes. , You have to really think, why, you don’t have enough faith and wishes, you don’t know how extraordinary it is to die, do you understand?
Do you want to read the forty-eight vows? After you understand the forty-eight vows, you don’t want to stay with this world for a while (when you live), do you understand? But if the fate has not arrived, just staying in the world (living in the world) with fate to save sentient beings, this is called faith and wish. We don’t even have faith and wish now, so why can’t we recite Buddha’s rebirth? The pure land is called chanting Buddha. You only have nothing to do with chanting. If you don’t have faith and wish, the two words of faith and wish seem simple, and the knowledge is very deep.
